Dive Sites: Balcony Bay

Overhanging reefs are typical for tropical coral gardens. Such a situation is simulated here in the Balcony Bay. The ceiling overhangs several metres and - for security reasons - stands on stout pillars and the neighbouring wall to Water Lily World.
The roof of the balcony is a spacious area for water lilies.

Camera position: Lower level, before the gap to the wreck.
You can pan the above panorama using the mouse. Click and hold the left mouse button and move the mouse pointer right, left, up or down to pan the image. In the lower navigation bar you can use the + and - buttons to zoom in and out of the image.
Different and larger panoramic images can be found under 'Panoramas' in the menu to the left.
Have fun exploring the scuba park which at this point was still dry.

Balcony Bay begins with a gap in the western wall of the gorge.
The bay lies in between Water Lily World and the adjacent western cave.
The balcony that gives its name to this area lies close to the shore above a slope.

The branches of a large oak tree reach into the water.
The scenery looks great under the right lighting conditions.
